This weeks podcast see's news of fake registrations for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront beta. As such, any site claiming to offer access to it is fake and should be avoided, Electronic Arts community manager Matthew Everett says.
Steam Game's "Slave Tetris" Minigame Removed After Backlash. The game and trailer was updated Monday. Slave Tetris has been removed as it was perceived to be extremely insensitive by some people, its developer, Serious Games, announced on Twitter.
Official Fallout Monopoly Board Game Revealed. Details of the board game first emerged when a Shacknews journalist published on Instagram a picture of its contents box. In the comments section of that Instagram photo, one user asked the board game's designer--USAopoly--about when and where it would be released. "This November only at GameStop," was the manufacturer's response. It is not clear if the board game will ship outside of North America.
While there are no plans in place to actually make such a game, Obsidian project director Josh Sawyer says in a new interview that the Fallout: New Vegas and South Park: The Stick of Truth developer sees a number of similarities between its 2010 RPG Alpha Protocol and the animated TV show, Archer.
