So what have I been up to these last few weeks, or at least since the last PvP update?
Well that’s pretty simple, editing, working, pooping and of course, gaming.
I try and find as much time as possible to play games for enjoyment rather than what we are filming, but I actually find it much more enjoyable to look into the new devs and the sparks of creativity that they bring to the community.
We have been lucky enough to have some great responses from these guys that you will have seen in “Flub Fighter”, “Bleeding Blocks” and soon to come will be “That Rock, Paper, Scissor Game”. We will also be in touch with our friends from France at Blu-Pix regarding “Chibis Bomba” to see how their development is coming after I worked with one of their main chaps to identify an issue with the game (It wasn’t optimised for Windows 8/8.1 if you’re wondering).
Working with these small teams is great as, as a small channel/website ourselves, we can help each other with promotion and various other issues.
As for the fun gaming side of things, a lot of Elite Dangerous has been played, mainly through friendly banter with our friends at “Pixel Bandits” who keep me interested, if only to one day meet them and blow them out of the stars!
Rocksmith has also been played in copious amounts, mainly for the fact of excellent DLC they release (more Iron Maiden though guys!), as well as Fallout 3 and Fallout Shelter from the Google app store.
Keep tuned for more Space Engineers and Minecraft series (as soon as I can figure out what the hell is wrong with the Minecraft server…again) as well as our favourites such as Goldeneye: Source, Unreal Tournament Online and Day Z!
Dan Bate PvP Presenter/Editor
He's the tall one. Born of some origin no one cares about, after performing with Iron Maiden, Dan hit his head and went into a coma for 150 years. When he woke up, he had landed a job as a host on Podcast vs Player. Distraught with the news, Dan now spends every penny PvP earns building a time machine to go back in time, to a world that knew no pain.
