Video Game Announcements
Halo 5: Guardians
                                                                                                                                     
  Microsoft unveiled some more details on the Halo 5: Guardians campaign, including information about Spartan Locke's mission to hunt down Master Chief, campaign gameplay, and new enemies. Halo 5's Warzone, the multiplayer mode that mixes AI with real players, was also revealed.



ReCore
                                                                                                                                  
  The creators of Metroid and Mega Man are working on this new first-party, ReCore, that features a woman and her robot dog fighting enemies in a desert wasteland. The trailer reveals a spring 2016 release window.


Fallout 4
                                                                                                                                     
  The first Fallout 4 details were announced last night at Bethesda's E3 conference, but Bethesda saved some news for the Microsoft conference, including cross-mod support between PC and Xbox One versions of Fallout 4and Fallout 3 included free with the Xbox One version of Fallout 4.


Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
                                                                                                                                     
  EA revealed that another Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming to the Xbox One. The sequel is set to release in early 2016.


Forza Motorsport 6
                                                                                                                                     
  The next Forza game will feature over 450 cars, 26 locations, and will be out for Xbox One on September 15 this year.

Dark Souls III
                                                                                                                                     
  Microsoft debuted the first Dark Souls III trailer, which you can watch below.Darks Souls III is lated for a 2016 release.


The Division Beta
                                                                                                                                     
  The Division will have an open beta on for the Xbox One this December.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
                                                                                                                                     
  EA revealed that those who purchase Rainbow Six Siege will also receive Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 free.

  The Gigantic beta for Xbox One begins this August.

Ion
                                                                                                                                     
  Ion is the next game from the creator of DayZ. Though not much is known about the new game, there are hints that you'll be able to switch bodies with others.

Rise of the Tomb Raider
                                                                                                                                     
  Microsoft announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on November 10, 2015. Microsoft also showed off a new gameplay demo at the conference.


Rare Replay
                                                                                                                                     
  In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Rare is releasing a collection of 30 Rare games, including Battletoads, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Banjo-Kazooie, and more. It'll be available for Xbox One on August 4.


Sea of Thieves
                                                                                                                                     
  Rare's newest IP is Sea of Thieves, a multiplayer pirate adventure that will be available for Xbox One and PC Holiday 2016.


Fable Legends
                                                                                                                                     
  Microsoft revealed a new trailer and a holiday 2015 launch window for Fable Legends.


Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
                                                                                                                                     
  A remake of the original Gears of War will be available on August 25. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition runs 1080p at 60 frames per second.


Gears of War 4
                                                                                                                                     
  Even more Gears of War, this time with the unexpected Gears of War 4, which was revealed with a gameplay demo and will be available sometime in Holiday 2016.


Hardware Announcements

Backward Compatibility
                                                                                                                                     
  This winter, Xbox One will support over 100 Xbox 360 games with the new backward compatibility feature. Preview members will be able to access the feature today. Microsoft showed off a demo of how backwards compatibility works on the Xbox One with Mass Effect. You can watch that demo in the video below.


Xbox Elite Wireless Controller
                                                                                                                                     
  Microsoft unveiled a new customizable controller for the Xbox One. The Xbox Elite controller features swappable components, reprogrammable buttons, a new D-pad, and more.


HoloLens Minecraft Presentation
                                                                                                                                     Microsoft showed off a special version of Minecraft for the HoloLens at its press conference. They also announced that there will be more Minecraft announcements at this year's MineCon.


Microsoft Partners with Valve VR
                                                                                                                                     
  In addition to partnering with Oculus, Microsoft is partnering with Valve for more virtual reality experiences for Windows 10.

Program Announcements

New Games Coming to EA Access
                                                                                                                                     
  Dragon Age: Inquisition and Titanfall will be added to the EA Access vault this year. Also, in celebration of E3, EA announced that EA Access will be free for Xbox Live Gold members this week.

Xbox Game Preview
                                                                                                                                     
  Microsoft introduced Xbox Game Preview, a new program that allows Xbox One users to play games still in development. First games on Xbox Game Preview include DayZ, The Long Dark, and more.
